Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We’ll look to you to collaborate with internal Western Union development, operations, and security teams to secure our multi-cloud environment and applications. You’ll assist with configuring infrastructure-as-code, integration of security into CICD pipelines, and creation and automation of cloud security controls. This is not a boring, siloed position but part of a multi-discipline team where interest and learning in new areas are encouraged.
We need you to have some experience in Cloud, CICD, or orchestration and automation. You have experience with infrastructure-as-code, Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and Python or other scripting languages. Kubernetes, Docker, or Fargate experience with container-based technology is a plus. AWS or GCP cloud certifications are a plus but we value knowledge and experience and passion over the paper.

Annual base salary gross: 31,486 – 60,262 Euro
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
