- Planning and overseeing new business development initiatives to expand the customer base within the German-speaking markets.
- Delivering, managing, and improving the full sales cycle
- Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Generating revenue through new sales and up-sells
- Owning overall service relationship with an assigned customer to maximize satisfaction, adoption, and retention
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new partnership opportunities
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events related to solar market and solar engineering
- Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promoting the company’s products/services by addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and/or business development in German solar market
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication in German and English (C2)
- Passion in finding the best solution to customer questions/issues
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment with flawless execution
- Analytical mind with creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong work ethic with high energy and willingness to learn on the job
- Sociable, curious, creative, and passionate
- Knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage
